Update: 15-year-old Accused of Gas Station Shooting in Brawley Makes First Court Appearance

A 15-year-old boy accused of shooting a 21-year-old man at a Brawley gas station made his first court appearance Monday.

The minor was arrested without incident on January 30, 2025, at a home in Yuma. He was later extradited to Imperial County and charged with attempted murder.

Authorities have not released further details about the case.
