Minor Injuries Reported in Highway 111 Collision Near Brawley, which left one car rolled over
Brawley, CA – A two-vehicle collision near Brawley on Highway 111 and Schartz Road left both vehicles heavily damaged, including one that flipped over. Fortunately, authorities confirmed that all occupants escaped with only minor injuries.
The crash was reported at approximately 5:07 p.m. on Tuesday. According to California Highway Patrol logs, a white Kia Forte and a black Jeep Cherokee collided at the intersection, causing the Jeep to overturn. Emergency responders, including fire crews and medical personnel, were quickly dispatched to the scene.
Despite the severity of the crash, all four occupants—two in each vehicle—were able to walk away without serious injuries. Both Brawley Police Department and local towing services responded to clear the wreckage.
Authorities temporarily closed the area to manage the scene, but traffic has since returned to normal. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
