Ryan Garcia wins fight against Devin Haney by majority decision.

April 20th, New York - In a surprising turn of events, despite controversy on social media, Ryan Garcia took the victory today during his fight with Devin Haney, landing 3 knockdowns on Devin

Garcia’s left hook proved pivotal in his match against Haney, landing multiple times throughout the fight and leading to three knockdowns. Despite Haney’s recovery efforts and effective boxing, Garcia’s power shots kept him on the defensive.

"I mean, my left hook is my left hook," Garcia said of the shot that scored all three of his knockdowns. "That's blessed by God. Whenever I land it, it can put you down or out." 

The referee deducted a point from Garcia for a foul in the seventh round, impacting the scoring. Ultimately, Garcia secured the victory with scores of 112-112, 114-110, and 115-109. Despite concerns over Garcia’s pre-fight antics and weight miss, he demonstrated his skill in the ring.

"Come on, guys, you really thought I was crazy?" Garcia said after the fight of his pre-fight behavior. "You done lost your whole mind."

While he missed the opportunity to claim Haney’s WBC junior welterweight championship due to the weight miss, both fighters expressed interest in a rematch.
