San Diego and human trafficking, task force arrest high school, teacher for attempted enticement of a minor
SAN DIEGO, CA - Sean Stevenson a 58-year-old high school science teacher, at the university city high school was arrested by the San Diego Human Trafficking Task Force at approximately 7 AM on October 24 and charged in federal court with attempted enticement of a minor
Sean Stevenson was set to have his first court appearance on October 25th at 2 p.m. before U.S. Magistrate Judge Mitchell Dembin.
Stevenson's suspected involvement in unlawful activities came to light during a separate sex trafficking investigation. According to a criminal complaint, a handful of messages from that investigation revealed Stevenson's intent to engage in illegal activities by seeking sexual services with a minor.
An undercover officer began to text Stevenson's pinger application the officer then claimed that he had sex trafficked her 16-year-old cousin
According to The complaint states on October 23 Stevenson's allegedly messaged the undercover officer trying to negotiate a a price of $140 for oral sex. From a 16-year-old girl. They then both agreed to meet. And the early mornings of October 24. on El Cajon Boulevard for the “date” with the minor.
The suspect then arrived at the location and was arrested at approximately 7 AM
