Join the Community Workshop #2 to Shape the Future of Lithium Valley
Introduction:
Imperial County is excited to invite you to the second community workshop for the Lithium Valley Specific Plan and Programmatic Environmental Impact Report (Project). This workshop provides a unique opportunity for residents to participate in the decision-making process and contribute to the development of the Lithium Valley Specific Plan. Your input will help shape the future of this promising project.
Purpose of the Workshop:
The primary objective of the community workshop is to present information and gather valuable input on the project's land use alternatives for the Lithium Valley Specific Plan. This interactive session aims to inform the community about various land use scenarios and highlight key differences and highlights between each alternative.
Recording and Incorporating Input:
To ensure that no input goes unnoticed, the workshop presentation will be recorded. This recording will help capture all the valuable suggestions and ideas shared by the participants. The input received during the workshop will be carefully summarized and incorporated into the next phase of the Lithium Valley Project. This way, your voice will directly influence the project's direction and decision-making process.
Workshop Details:
The workshop will be held in two locations to accommodate as many community members as possible. The first session will take place in Brawley at the Lions Center Gymnasium on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, from 6pm to 8pm. The second session will be held in Salton City at the West Shores Senior Center on Thursday, July 20, 2023, also from 6pm to 8pm.
Spanish Translation Services:
We value inclusivity and want to ensure that language is not a barrier to participation. Therefore, Spanish translation services will be provided during both workshop sessions. This way, Spanish-speaking community members can fully engage and share their thoughts and perspectives.
