Calexico High School Students raise $2000 in Heartfelt Support for the 4 Brawley teens tragically lost on January 8th.

In a heartwarming display of compassion and solidarity, the students and staff of Calexico High School (CHS) have come together to support the families of Brawley's 4 Angels—Siara Sanchez, Aaden Ray Richards, Angelina Martinez, and Amberly Vasquez. These young souls tragically lost their lives in a fatal car crash on January 8th.

The community was touched when it was revealed that a generous gentleman drove all the way from Calexico to Brawley, delivering a substantial donation of $2110 in cash. on January 11 at 12 pm The Calexico high school ASB collected donations for the four young souls lost in this terrible tragedy.

This significant sum was collectively raised by the students at CHS, reflecting a shared commitment to standing by their neighboring community in times of grief.

“Let's give ALL THE STUDENTS AT Calexico High School a big hand 👏, We were informed that a gentleman drove to Brawley from Calexico to drop off $2000 cash that the students at CHS collectively raised for the families of Brawley's 4 Angels, I am in awe and overwhelmed with emotion, what a fantastic job supporting the city of Brawley!” Says Emma Saucedo on her Facebook page in the group “Rants, and Raves of Imperial Valley”

The funds raised by CHS students and staff will go directly to the families affected by the tragic incident, providing a financial cushion during a challenging time. This collective effort demonstrates the power of community and the impact that compassion can have in healing wounds and fostering unity.
